SELF-WORTH CAREER RESET™

Terms of Use

Effective August 30, 2026

1. Agreement and provider

These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Moore Career Consulting, operating as Self-Worth Career Reset™ (“Self-Worth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to Self-Worth Career Studio, its resume builder, career-document tools, facilitator features, saved-work area, and related services (the “Studio”). By creating a profile, accepting these Terms, or using the Studio, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and minors

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Studio profile. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent, legal guardian, school, sponsoring organization, or authorized program facilitator has permitted your use. The Studio is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally sufficient permission, we may delete it and disable access.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your profile unless applicable law provides otherwise. Accounts and access codes may not be sold, transferred, shared publicly, or used to bypass usage limits.

3A. Paid tester pass

The optional tester pass is a one-time $5 purchase that provides seven consecutive days of access and up to five AI actions. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. The pass begins when Stripe confirms payment. Unused time or AI actions do not roll over. After the pass ends, you may continue to open, manually edit, and download saved files, but new AI creation and revision require renewed or sponsored access.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Any refund required by applicable law will be honored; other refund requests are reviewed based on the circumstances and the amount of access already used.

4. Career information and user responsibility

You retain ownership of the career information and documents you submit. You give us a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and transform that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Studio and provide requested services. You represent that you have the right to submit the content.

You are responsible for reviewing every output before using it. You must confirm that employers, titles, dates, credentials, licenses, metrics, responsibilities, and accomplishments are accurate. Research-based responsibility suggestions describe typical work only and are not proof that you performed it.

5. AI-assisted output and no employment guarantee

The Studio uses artificial intelligence and automated quality checks. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular employer or applicant-tracking system. The Studio provides career-writing assistance, not legal, financial, medical, immigration, licensing, or employment advice.

We do not guarantee interviews, offers, promotions, compensation, admission into a program, recruiter responses, applicant-tracking-system results, or any other career outcome. Hiring and screening decisions are controlled by third parties.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Studio only for lawful career-development, education, workforce-program, and job-application purposes. You may not use the Studio to:

  • impersonate another person, steal an identity, create false employment records, or submit fraudulent qualifications;
  • invent or falsify licenses, degrees, security clearances, work authorization, references, accomplishments, employers, dates, or metrics;
  • commit, facilitate, conceal, or promote fraud, theft, harassment, discrimination, exploitation, unauthorized access, or any other crime;
  • upload Social Security numbers, banking credentials, full government-identification numbers, medical records, or information you are not authorized to disclose;
  • introduce malware, probe security, scrape the service, reverse engineer protected systems, evade access or usage controls, or interfere with other users;
  • violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, contractual, or legal rights; or
  • use output as a substitute for required professional or legal review.

We may restrict or suspend access, preserve relevant records, and disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the public, investigate misuse, or comply with lawful process.

7. Facilitator and workshop access

If you use the Studio through a workshop, cohort, employer, school, nonprofit, or sponsoring program, an authorized Self-Worth facilitator or administrator may view your profile name, email address, cohort, activity information, usage counts, and saved career documents for program administration, support, quality review, and career assistance. Facilitator access does not transfer ownership of your documents.

8. Self-Worth materials

The Studio software, visual design, Self-Worth Career Reset™ name and marks, WorthProof™ framework, prompts, instructions, templates, and original site content belong to Moore Career Consulting or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use the Studio. They do not permit you to copy, resell, sublicense, or create a competing service from protected Studio materials.

9. Third-party services

The Studio depends on third-party hosting, authentication, artificial-intelligence, and occupational-research services. Their availability and data practices may affect the Studio. Links to outside websites are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for their content, hiring practices, or services.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Studio; correct errors; change usage allowances; or modify features to maintain security, quality, compliance, or sustainability. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with a new effective date and may require renewed acceptance.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moore Career Consulting and its owner, contractors, facilitators, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost income, opportunities, data, goodwill, or employment; or hiring decisions arising from or related to the Studio.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Studio will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Studio during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100. This limitation does not apply where applicable law prohibits it or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Moore Career Consulting and its owner, contractors, and facilitators from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful or fraudulent use of the Studio, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit without authorization. This section does not require you to indemnify anyone for their own unlawful conduct.

14. Governing law and disputes

Virginia law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you and Self-Worth agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes may be brought in the state courts serving the City of Chesapeake, Virginia, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

15. General terms

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a business transfer or reorganization. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the complete online-use agreement for the Studio unless a separate written agreement applies to a paid service or sponsored program.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be submitted through the Studio’s problem-reporting tool or sent to info@selfworthcareerreset.com. Contacting us does not enroll you in marketing emails.
